CONVERSION & TRANSFORMATION CONCEPTS

Based on qiip’s focus to develop sustainable solution for sports venus and other infrastructures, qiip identified a huge potential in the reuse of abandoned buildings, especially old industrial complexes. In this process, strategic planning is important to identify the potential of a building. Similar to the development of sports venues a legacy plan for the reuse of building has to be defined first. During the elaboration of the concept flexibility in using the building is vital to allow adaptions if requirements change.  The concept is the basis for further developing a flexible room program as well as identifying scenarios for hosting possible events, in order to increase the variety of the building.
